The Owner undertakes its utmost effort to ensure that the content provided on this Website infringes no applicable legal provisions or third-party rights. However, it may not always be possible to achieve such a result. In such cases, Users are kindly asked to preferably report related complaints using the contact details provided in this document.
Through this Website Users may have access to external resources provided by third parties. Users acknowledge and accept that the Owner has no control over such resources and is therefore not responsible for their content and availability.
This Website may only be used within the scope of what they are provided for, under these Terms and applicable law.
Licenses are offered to business customers only. This includes freelancers acting in their professional capacity. Licenses are not offered to consumers.
Prices, descriptions or availability of Products are outlined in the respective sections of this Website and are subject to change without notice. This does not affect the price of an existing subscription (see Subscription prices).
Product descriptions on this Website are for reference only and imply no warranty as to the characteristics of the purchased Product.
Users are informed during the purchasing process about any fees, taxes and costs that they will be charged.
The subscription price stated at the time of purchase will not increase for as long as the subscription is renewed without interruption. Where an introductory price applies, the subscription continues at the regular price stated at the time of purchase after the introductory period. Only taxes or fees (such as VAT or payment-provider charges) can vary, if the applicable rate changes.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, invoicing, sales tax and VAT, and order-related inquiries such as billing and refund requests. Technical support for the Products is provided by Habarisoft (see Support).
If a payment fails or is refused by the payment service provider, the Owner shall be under no obligation to fulfill the purchase order.
Digital goods that come with source code are not eligible for refund or return.
Deployment licenses are not eligible for refund or return.
Where an introductory price applies, the first 3 months of the subscription are an evaluation period: the full product, without functional restrictions, at a reduced price. The subscription can be cancelled at any time during the evaluation period; it then ends after the 3 months and does not renew. A license bought at the introductory price is a perpetual developer license: after the subscription ends, the versions released up to its end may be used without time limit. Only updates and technical support end with the subscription. The evaluation period replaces a refund: such subscriptions are not eligible for refund or return.
ScroogeXHTML Server Deployment Licenses or parts of it may not be distributed, sold, rented or transferred to any other party, this includes mergers and acquisitions of the license holder.
The ScroogeXHTML library may not be distributed with your code as a separate binary (jar file).
On request, Habarisoft may provide a free evaluation copy of ScroogeXHTML for Java (Jar Edition), without buying a license. Like licenses, evaluation copies are offered to business customers only. An evaluation copy may be used for 30 days from the date the download credentials were sent, only to evaluate whether the Product meets the User's needs. It may not be used in production, and neither the Product nor any program that contains it may be distributed. After 30 days, the User must either buy a license or delete all copies of the Product. The download credentials expire after 30 days. The section "Special terms for evaluation copies" of the license applies.

These Terms are governed by the law of the place where the Owner is based, as disclosed in the relevant section of this document, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
